Accounting and Tax Manager. I review financial statements of small businesses on a monthly basis and provide insight that would help them make the best financial decisions to mitigate tax liabilities. For individuals, I provide advanced tax planning and mitigation to make sure their end of the year tax liabilities are as minimal as possible. Of course, if it is too late, I do what I can to make sure the process of getting it rectified is as painless as possible.

• Made a gross profit of $160,000 first year in operation and prepared and reviewed over 250 tax returns, many of them across the country digitally from my home office. 6% growth after that• 40% of business were high net worth individuals, small business owners, real estate investors, entities, and individuals who needed advanced tax planning strategies to stay ahead of tax liabilities. Other 60% are basic individual tax returns and/or tax returns for clients’ dependents• Created over 25 LLC’s, Partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations and Trusts including registering them with the Secretary of State, the IRS (EIN number), and the state department of revenue and requesting payroll identifying numbers when necessary• Represented over 50 people and companies before the IRS and various state departments of revenue regarding installment agreements, offers in compromise, innocent/injured spouse, and currently not collectible status.

• Worked part-time from home (20 hours a week usually) assisting over 80 TurboTax users in preparing their returns• Utilized to train other TurboTax Live professionals on complicated tax matters such as filing Form 3115 (Change in Accounting Method for correcting prior period depreciation), and Form 8824 (Like-Kind Exchange for property that was effectively transferred through a 1031 exchange)• Assisted over 130 TurboTax users with general questions and concerns regarding their tax matters (usually related to tax notices)

• Created company during the midst of the Great Recession and in 2017 was nominated and received an award for Outstanding Service to Entrepreneurs by the Daily Herald Business Ledger (a local print publication for businesses)• Initially provided QuickBooks consulting services and expanded to bookkeeping, sales taxes, payroll, and individual and corporate tax preparation• Worked with various tax and accounting firms to assist with overflow work
