I develop and evaluate controls strategies through simulation in Simulink as well as embedded in real time hardware control systems. I work in Simulink, Visual Studios, CANape, and CANalyzer to accomplish these tasks.

Gather data from a variety of sources and use it for the development of advanced controls, including adaptive controllers, fitting neural networks, and pattern recognition (classification) neural networks.

I started out as part time maintenance during the summer, moved up to Supervising parking lots and basic equipment maintenance. I now maintain the office computer network, conduct bench repairs of circuit boards, and travel to job sites doing installations of new parking equipment.

I participated in the testing of International brand products to ensure compliance with new FMVSS 105 and 121 standards, as well as reliability, subjective braking quality, and durability.I was responsible for generating test requests, analyzing results, and creating final reports.

I worked as an intern in the noise vibration and harshness group where I was trained to carry out a number of tests on various vehicles and devices. I was also shown methods of making a vehicle quieter in the event it was too loud.
