Project: Bow River Bridge Twinning ProjectBudget: $80 million +This project is located in Calgary, AB and was awarded to a Flatiron Aecon joint venture. The project is to twin the Bow River Bridge and Widen 2 km of NW Stoney Trail from Crowchild Trail to Scenic Acres Link.- Material procurement for Substructure and Superstructure of the project while also procuring materials, and equipment in order to maintain project schedule- Remitted accurate project quantity input and controls using assigned project cost coding to ensure project financials are accurately reported. Managed cost coding with Company finance and accounting teams regarding employee time, materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.- Prepared, submitted, and maintained construction documents (submittals, project/job reports, invoices, subcontract documents and change orders) as directed by the Project Manager-Assisted in monitoring and coordinating ongoing operations: (i.e. Concrete Pour for Piers and piles of the Bridge)-Worked directly with Site Superintendent, Coordinators/Field Engineers, and other project staff assigned at Bow River Bridge regarding project status and schedule, work packages, submittals, and other type of activities.

Project: Glenmore Dam Rehabilitation ProjectBudget: $50 million +This unique project is located in Calgary, AB and was awarded to Flatiron Constructors Canada Ltd. as the prime contractor. It entailed the rehabilitation of the Glenmore Dam originally constructed in 1932 that saw its last face-lift in 1981.• Produced work method plans for complex construction activities including installation of complicated one sided formwork and intricate procedures for various concrete repairs, the bridge deck demolition, the south abutment reconstruction and more.• Used knowledge of contract documents, drawings, CSA and various other specifications to inspect rebar, embeds, and various other complex permanent materials for compliance with contract specifications and tolerances.• Produced reputable relationships with the Client/Owner, and effectively collaborated with the Owner’s representatives to solve issues effectively and efficiently.• Directed and managed field crews for critical tasks involving technical procedures for installation of permanent works.• Managed various subcontractors and suppliers effectively to maintain contract schedule, milestones, and critical path items.• Assisted with the South Abutment column design formwork• Tracked work changes and effectively negotiated extra work costs with the Owner’s representatives.• Managed contract submittals and RFIs in a timely manner to ensure the project schedule would not be impacted.
