• Doubled our lineup of hardware products, enabling more flexible and customized solutions for our customers. Designed a solar charged dual Li-ion battery module to power our off-grid agricultural deployments. • Revamped the hardware documentation by introducing a logbook-style format. Pitched and encouraged my documentation style and garnered feedback to further streamline the documentation process.

- Designed a robust shipping hook assembly to easily install onto our autonomous vehicle. Calculated the power required for our vehicle to reach 2m/s max velocity to select a new motor. Converted a wheelchair into a mapping vehicle using custom sensor mounts to obtain 3D maps of outdoor locations.- Implemented a magnetically triggered indicator onto our vehicle docking station to indicate the docking status to passengers and operators. Designed and tested a 36V 6A load switch with voltage and current protections to reliably control power to robot components.

Firmware & Software: Modified our overhauled firmware to communicate with legacy sensors to extend its EOL. Developed telemetry firmware using the Particle API to communicate the status of our IoT devices. Implemented the server endpoint to parse and store the telemetry communication into a Postgres + Redis database to monitor our fleet's health.Hardware: Selected, tested and integrated a watchdog chip into our device PCBs to automate firmware crash recovery, reducing downtime. Streamlined a procedure to manufacture our device PCBs reliably and quickly.Product Deployment: Packaged devices with instructions to be failproof and enjoyable for client installations. Communicated with clients on site and remotely to solve outages and ensure client satisfaction.

-Supported DBA team’s modernization through projects in team management and automation. -Team Management: Drafted a service level agreement to reinforce the new consulting role of my team. Managed communications and planning for the transition of database monitoring to Support Centre.
