I was born and raised in the Tri-cities and would like to stay here and work locally, however my family and I are open to new opportunities. I am a Fire Protection Engineer with the Central Plateau Cleanup Company on the DOE Hanford Cleanup site. I have been working in the realm of fire protection since 2018 which includes also being a Fire Systems Design Authority for the Tank Farms Contract. Additional work experience includes facility mechanical maintenance, M&TE Engineer, Asbestos Remediation/Control, and spent a large amount of time within the spec/purchasing realm for equipment.Outside of work I am a very busy father with five children, my son plays hockey in town and my daughters are into cheer, with my oldest daughter competing at the nationals level. Additionally, I some how find time to play a little hockey myself and work as a volunteer firefighter/EMT for Benton County Fire District 1 where I am a Lieutenant. We are very active in the community and help others when we get the opportunity.

This position allows me to be involved in a large number of different activities and interface with many of the different groups we have on site. I work predominantly with preventive maintenance, helping generate the technical procedures used to conduct the maintenance as well as determining the frequency of the activities. Alongside that work, I am also the M&TE Engineer for Production Ops which has me being involved in the purchasing process of new or replacement M&TE as well as I have to do evaluations on instruments that come back from the calibration lab with an "Out of Tolerance" status during its "As-Found" testing. -
