As an aircrewman in the United States Coast Guard I was fortunate to be able to fly with many different pilots from all walks of life. I was able to see different piloting and teaching styles and their effectiveness. I was put into stressful situations where I was required to remain calm and perform under pressure. Having worked as an aircrewman, aircraft mechanic and now a pilot, I am confident I have the necessary skills coupled with experience to be successful in the aviation industry.
