I am the Managing Partner of SOR Solicitors and an AML compliance and remediation advisor to regulated and non regulated entities with a focus on financial regulatory matters, risk management and remediation. I provide guidance on engagement and communications with relevant regulatory authorities including the Central Bank of Ireland and Department of Justice on AML compliance, remediation and enforcement. We also provide assistance to under staffed compliance departments to meet the regulatory obligations and carry out periodic reviews of controlled functions, including MLROs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including SEAR and the reduction of regulatory risk. I also advise business and individual clients on corporate strategy and commercial transactions in particular on buying and selling companies, corporate investments, joint ventures, shareholder’s agreements and shareholder disputes.I also hold an International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from the University of Manchester and I am an ICA Certified Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
