As part of his MEng in Electronic and Communications Engineering, James undertook two summer placements with bf1systems, which eventually led to him taking the role of development engineer upon the completion of his degree.He has since moved through the positions of applications engineer and OEM electronics manager and has overseen the development and delivery of Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems for OEM automotive clients including Lamborghini, Aston Martin, McLaren, Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani and Koenigsegg, as well as being a key member of the team responsible for expanding the firm’s motorsport electronics portfolio and development of the FACTOR001 bicycle. With his role as business development director at bf1systems, James is responsible for overseeing the development of new business opportunities, with both new and existing customers; OEM and motorsport, as well as the exploration of new markets.
