Seeing a need for educating Nova Scotian Mortgage Brokers, I developed the Mortgage 101 course in partnership with Maritime Business College. The course is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of the basic skills and knowledge they will need to be a successful Mortgage Broker.

Was an Independant Mortgage Broker with Mortgage Intelligence for 5 years. Responsible for all aspects of marketing, selling, and closing mortgages. Our storefront office is located in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.

Managed the Wells Fargo Automotive branch team that serviced the YesPlan client portfolio in Atlantic Canada. Was responsible for the overall success and profitability of the branch. Cross sold personal loans and mortgages. Responsible for managing loan/lease delinquencies as well as asset recovery and disposal.

Founded in 1964, Resource Dealer Group is North America's premier provider of financial services to the automotive industry. With a wide range of products available to single and multi-point dealers, consolidators, and manufacturers.Marketed Resources' FADAguard (Federation of Automobile Dealers Association, now CADA) Warranty program to new car dealers throughout southwestern Ontario. Trained dealer F&I Managers on selling warranty programs and assisted Service Managers submit claims and resolve disputes.

Created a detailed Business Plan for a Toronto Stock Exchange listed Financial Insitution that wanted to establish a new sub-prime automotive finance company in Canada.

Americredit is now GM Financial. Responsible for advising executive management and creating a detailed business plan for Americredit's original expansion into Canada. Established the first Americredit branch in Canada in Mississauga, Ontario. AmeriCredit pulled out of Canada in 2000. Managed a team of 4 Credit analysts and audited underwriting to ensure credit polices were being followed. Was responsible to marketing AmeriCredit's non-prime auto financing programs to Dealer Principals, General Managers, and training F&I Managers on how to identify and close non-prime clients.

At one time, Mercury Finance was the largest sub-prime auto finance company in the USA. It was a New York Stock Exchange listed company. Mercury Finance went bankrupt in 1997.Managed both the Tacoma and Seattle, Washington branches from 1995 to 1998.

Responsible for sourcing automotive related businesses to advertise in CAJAD's Business Review magazine that was sent to the association's dealer principals.
