In this two part position, I was responsible for the day to day needs of the Stamford Campus School of Business department as well as the Connecticut Information Technology Institute also known as CITI. Technology plays a heavy role in both areas. This includes but is not limited to managing of UConn's distance learning initiative, classroom infrastructure (computer lab or regular classroom), faculty and staff support and the role that technology plays in the classroom.CITI (www.citi.uconn.edu) is a business founded and operated by the School of Business which provides education to professionals from all over the region. CITI specializes in technical and project management based training. I am proud to have overseen the recreation of our website as well as the ongoing development of our program.As the director of technology it was my responsibility to maintain the technical infrastructure of both the CITI and the School of Business programs. A typical day for me involved touching base with our faculty staff and students to ensure that the tools that they need to learn, work, and teach are effectively used.
