As the Director of Copper Candle, a creative technology company that specialises in realtime content creation for live events, virtual production, and immersive experiences, I lead a team of talented professionals who use Unreal Engine as the main tool for designing and delivering stunning digital content. I have over 20 years of experience in teaching and researching realtime technologies and their applications in the performing arts industry, as well as researching for my PhD in Theatre Production Design Visualisation from Rose Bruford College.My mission is to explore the possibilities and potentials of Unreal Engine for creating engaging and interactive environments that blend the physical and the virtual, and to share my knowledge and skills with students, clients, and collaborators. I have completed two Unreal Fellowships in World Building and Animation, and I have multiple certifications in Unreal Engine. I want to bring live events to virtual experiences in games, broadcast and the metaverse. I am passionate about bridging the gap between art and technology, and empowering the next generation of digital content creators.
