Since rollout I have been working closely with the Global ServiceDesk in Dubai and Houston to provide support to global customers, this includes re-setting passwords for Active Directory accounts, IBM Showcase, Cisco Call Manager, Safecom print management as well as desktop operating system support and configuration.During April I was appointed to head up a regional project to ensure that all company issued mobile devices was not only enrolled in Airwatch but were fully compliant to corporate policies, as part of this project I was asked to create policies, procedures and install documentation to allow customers to carry out self-configuration. My main role as a Desktop Support Analyst was to provide local and remote customers with enterprise level support. This included the build, configuration and deployment of the Windows 7 64bit Enterprise SCCM image as well as troubleshooting hardware issues with desktops/laptops. As well as desktop/software support I also carried out the troubleshooting of Xerox multifunction printers and escalating issues to the provider (Xeretec). It was also my responsibility to carry out network cable patching and updating documentation as and when required.I was also involved in a project to install new network equipment in a refurbished building, this included patching and mounting hardware into racks whilst working closely with the network/server team. My main role was to provide first line support to clients within the UK, EU Regions, also providing English support to users in other global regions when required. Creating and resolving helpdesk tickets using Microsoft Service Manager, including escalating tickets to the correct queue. Deploying and managing smartphones (Nokia Lumia and iPhone) using Air Watch. Receipting IT Deliveries and ensuring all hardware and software asset databases were kept up to date.
