There is only so much time in a day and as the saying goes, "time is money".From a marketing perspective - How much is a consumers time worth to brands? and how much time does a consumer need to spend with a brand to achieve prompted or unprompted awareness?Just as consumer habits constantly evolve with the availability of new technologies,the manner in which we trade media transitions to a new metric of success. From CPM to CPC to Viewability to Engagement the market is constantly changing the metric of success in reports delivered to clients. In around 2012 I wrote an article around marketing currencies and the one true constant currency that was being ignored... Time! Years later it comes with some satisfaction that the currency marketers are starting to try and work out a value to is Time based exposures!I am a family man first and foremost, a bit of a fitness fanatic, enjoy watching Footy & am passionate about classic cars.Despite being in media for over 15 years, being great with stats, data & trading almost anything across traditional & digital channels, I still believe a big idea will outperform a big media buy. Somehow I've managed to stick almost solely on the agency side of marketing managing a broad spectrum of clients.I'm a logical thinker in regards to the integration and connection of various technology suites into a business and can wade through the big sales pitch quite quickly to find their pros and cons.I co-produce a TV show on Foxtel called Jukebox Saturday Night with my father.
