My name is James Sparrow and I am looking forward to receiving a top notch business education from the KSB. I am currently a student-athlete at Indiana University studying finance. I am also interested in marketing and sales strategies. I have been interested in business since I was a child because my grandfather is a small business owner and he has inspired me to pursue a career in business. This past summer, I had my first experience with the company when I worked as a lab technician. This helped me gain a better understanding about the products that the company sells. Some of my skills are my mental strength and positive attitude. I find it crucial to always be mentally sharp and to think optimistically. When I was 10 years old, I attended the Indiana University Basketball Summer Camp. Out of all the campers, I won the mental attitude award. To leave an impression on the coaches in a short amount of time was special to me and it showed that I had a strong mental game.Today, I am on the IU Men's golf team. This requires me to be flexible and organized because I am always busy. I have to be efficient with my time if I want to fit in leisure activities as well. Being a part of a division I sports team also requires commitment. I have to be committed to everything that I do or I will not perform to my full ability.
