Continuous Process Improvement Lead for the Program Executive Office for Ground Combat Systems.

Manages logistical activities associated with procurement, integration, and fielding support systems, weapon systems/equipment, and system modifications. Plans and develops effective and affordable weapons, material, and information systems support strategies. Ensures product support strategies meet program goals for operational effectiveness and readiness. Ensures supportability requirements consistent with cost, schedule, and performance are addressed. Plans and develops performance based logistics as preferred DoD product support approach. Ensures integration of all support elements to maximize deployability, supportability, and mobility. Implements effective and affordable weapons, material, or information systems support of fielded and or out of production systems, including obsolescence, modernization and modification, sustaining engineering, workload allocation, public-private partnerships, supply chain management, and/or system retirement. Executes and manages system performance based logistics support strategy, while ensuring system performance requirements are met.

Director for the MIARNG's LSS program and policy. Monitors and reports all CPI projects to the G3/G5. Also, acts as the Master Black Belt to mentor and coach CPI projects for lean initiatives for the MIARNG and provides training to the workforce.

Provides direct support to IAANG by preparing and conducting Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) inspections for the Major Subordinate Commands (MSC) and the Field Maintenance Support (FMS) through the State of Iowa. Prepares written documentation of the inspection results to MSC or FMS supervisors, commanders, and the Adjutant General of Iowa. Produces program logistics documentation necessary to meet milestone reviews, including supportability strategies. Develops, coordinates, and maintains logistics support policies regarding CSDP, procedures, and directives which document the methods, techniques, programs, plans and processes required to provide direction. Performs functional analysis and evaluation of CSDP activities involved in providing logistics support and CSDP management and provides guidance for the integration of such activities into supply and its interrelationship with CCDF business processes Provides critical staff support and guidance to CCDF users for CCDF plans and policies to ensure proper documentation is filed. CSDP inspections are planned in order to ensure that specialized functional activities are scheduled, and performed. Performs comprehensive evaluation and assessment of logistics concepts, programs, and directives pertaining to CSDP and supply missions and identifies required changes or modification of functional business processes to MSCs. Performs continuing analysis of Provisioning and Item Introduction of the CSDP program to identify opportunities or requirements for increased effectiveness, efficiency, and emphasis by creating a trends tracker spreadsheet. Serves as a research expert for such areas as Provisioning, Item Introduction, Maintenance, Supply Catalogs, Tools, etc. Analyzes problems, gathers information, tests alternative approaches, recommends solutions and monitors effectiveness of implementation.

Assist the unit commander to plan, resource, execute, document and assess training. Coordinates with HHC, A (Det. 1 and Det. 2), B, and C Companies to produce accurate documentation of the status of the Battalion (BN) training. Approves/disapproves BN training schedules and perform risk assessments. Utilize the First Army Tool Kit as the standardization for the BN. Maintain matrices on Warrior Tasks, Risk Assessments, Training Schedules, Training Assistor (TA) schools and dates that the student has attended. TA leave, and the BN Skill Identifiers. Knowledge of established management principles, pertinent regulations, and staffing guidelines. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of administrative and technical programs. Knowledge and skill in the development and implementation of the Labor Performance Standards and work Measurement Programs.
