A translations manager with eleven years’ experience in language service provision, six years’ handling translation projects of all sizes for the commercial sector with a focus on arts, publishing and museums, and two years managing a translations management team to do the same.Speaking both German and Italian, I understand the needs of both clients and language professionals in order to best facilitate communication between the two and produce translations and publications of the highest quality. A personal interest in creative writing enables innovative solutions to linguistic issues as well as the initiative to problem solve. Several years customer facing duties as well as voluntary work in the theatre also give me excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage teams creatively, efficiently and successfully.Currently looking for opportunities to develop my career further by managing a larger team either within the language services sector or further afield.
