- Authoring 2 book chapters and presented at the Southeast American Studies Association 2023 Conference about Vietnamese-American communities in southern Louisiana after environmental disasters (Hurricane Katrina, BP Oil Spill, Ida)- Presented at the Library of Congress Symposium "Rewriting America: Reconsidering the Federal Writers' Project 80 Years Later" about Gerald Chan Sieg, an Asian American writer for the FWP- Co-authored a book chapter about two influential but little-known Asian-American writers cum activists for a forthcoming book “The Uncovered: New Directions in Japanese American History” by Professor Greg Robinson to be published in Spring 2023.- Co-authored a book chapter for a peer-reviewed anthology titled “Rewriting America: New Essays on the Federal Writers’ Project,” edited by Professor Sara Rutkowski, published in November 2022. This anthology is the first-ever volume of essays (scholarly or otherwise) dedicated to the Federal Writers’ Project.- Conducted archival research about Japanese-American court cases for a published article

- Mentoring ~25 students per year on the college application process and developmentally edited ~1000 essays- Wrote two 25-page guidelines on writing activity sections—one each for the Common Application and University of California application

- Tutored 1000+ hours in various subjects including climate science, data analysis, English, public speaking, statistics, mathematics (ranging from 2nd grade math to Calculus II), college applications, writing, biology, chemistry, physics, U.S. history, economics, and international security.As a volunteer:- Taught English as a Second Language to 2 immigrant families weekly (50+ hours total) after preparing individualized lesson plans and homework for each individual for 1 year- Tutored one 4th grade student in literacy weekly with the Orton-Gillingham methodology for 6 months

- Collected and analyzed data on all ~7000 Yale faculty and all 20 Yale academic departments’ sustainability initiatives to determine and strengthen the interdisciplinary intersection between education and sustainability across departments- Drafted sustainability action plans for each of the 14 Yale University residential colleges and IT department and helped create the student sustainability liaison system between the residential colleges and the Office of Sustainability- Led 14 groups of 4-8 students while serving as a liaison between student groups, student aides, and administrative staff to promote sustainability initiatives—such as community gardens and Pay as You Throw incentives—in residential colleges- Mapped Yale’s climate change resiliency using 12+ datasets in ArcGIS & presented preliminary results at a college-wide conference

- Co-authored a 67-page report detailing recommendations on supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation in northeastern Kenya, particularly for the most vulnerable and marginalized communities- Collaborated with an 8-person team to review existing local and organizational programs and policies, research the effects of climate change in the region, and conduct 10 interviews (e.g. with 2006 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Ezekiel Okemwa and local residents)
