Long-term side project providing services on an as-needed basis:- Proof of concept, design, prototyping, and evaluation of 200 Watt "STM" Series-to-Multiple transformer for retrofit of high voltage 6.6A constant current streetlighting systems.- Setup of testing lab with a 5kVA electromechanical series lighting regulator, test fixtures, test loads, and test & measurement equipment. - Bench testing of all models of STM transformer to evaluate performance such as interaction with a selection of loads, regulator loading factor, losses, temperature rise and other characteristics.- Hardware design, PCB layout, mechanical design, initial prototype construction, calibration and evaluation of the "ACSD" fault detection cutout device for HV series lighting loops.
