Senior manager and trading principal with responsibility for the balance sheet of Citicorp's $50 billion capital markets business, as well as director product accountability for the sales, trading and financing of Citicorp's Section 20 - Primary Dealership, including 34 staff, $10B in assets and $40 mm in revenues.-Accountable for $10B in finance trading assets, $24mm in revenue, 16 staff and $14mm in gross margin, covering all securities classes from US Treasuries to high yield and emerging market securities. Increased revenues $12mm or 50% over three years while reducing assets $10B or 70% during same period. -Co-head of Primary Dealer desk encompassing $12mm in revenues, eight traders and seven sales people serving Citicorp's 1700 corporate relationships worldwide.-Managed a structured finance group to meet the needs of Citicorp's customers who required fixed income products through innovative platforms. Over $10B in assets and $500mm in working capital was freed up in just two years under a project designed to "white label the securities business."-Initiated, capitalized, and brought to market an NASD / SEC registered $15B broker/dealer, "Neptune"; created expressly for financing customer securities away from the balance sheet of Citicorp/Citibank.-Acquired regulatory approval for securitizing the future cash flows of foreign exchange and derivative assets.-Senior regulatory contact with responsibilities ranging from the FRBNY's Primary Dealer and Open Market operations to business interfaces for FRB, SEC, OCC and NASD reviews.

Directed a one-year project to expand the master servicing and portfolio management capabilities of this core business at a critical time in the mortgage finance industry. Increased the number of direct customers from 210 to 270, the number of loans serviced from 25,000 to 41,000 and annuity revenue from $4mm to $7mm annually, while reducing staff and operating expenses 11% through automation and outsourcing.

Responsible for a "turn around" market strategy while managing the day-to-day business operations of a 154 person business unit of Citibank servicing public sector customers. Tactical decisions included a repricing strategy and customer selection criteria which led to an increase in revenues from $14.8mm to $17.2mm, a reduction in expenses from $11.5mm to $9.6mm and an increase in reserves from $0.9mm to $1.6mm.

Reported directly to the COO of Citicorp's domestic investment banking activities. Was responsible for compliance, risk management, financial planning and control, manpower planning, accounting, internal control, management reporting and administration. Staff count was 43; total division budget exceeded $80mm.

Member of Citicorp's national mortgage organization's senior management team directly responsible for 78 people involved in operations accounting, in-house real estate appraisals, financial control and administration, senior systems interface, facilities managements and management reporting.
