This is a voluntary role that I have undertaken in my own time. I have been mentoring numerous students and graduates get roles within the creative sector. Using my prior knowledge of working within industry I have been able to help them understand and navigate the process of getting their first role within industry.Having been on the programme it has enabled me to understand how to approach mentoring, in a format that works for both myself and the mentee.

My duties involve having to offer technical support, demonstrate software and techniques for the Visual Effects course that I am a part of. There are various parts to the course that I offer support on where by I demonstrate various techniques and how to use different software that would allow the students to go on to do their own work.The software that I use are Nuke, 3DEqualizer, Vicon Blade, Motionbuilder, Maya and Premiere just to name a few. These are predominantly for Youtube channels with regular viewers over 100k. I also Online edit TVC's ready for broadcast and Offline edits for various projects and clients. Regularly media managing older projects making sure that the right assets are kept for any future amendsme nts etc. House maintenance - Making sure that camera kit is fully working and going on the correct shoots. Worked for an interactive television station, producing shows, vision mixing, camera work, lighting and rigging / de-rigging different sets.

Whilst working here I was the motion graphics artist. Also I filmed and edited a few promotional videos for the education sector that would be shown online.
