One of my significant contributions has been conducting residue degradation studies and generating relevant data for our global marketing and sales teams. This data played a pivotal role in demonstrating the safety and efficacy of our products, facilitating market access and growth.I also designed and advocated for a global dietary exposure strategy, implementing advanced science in residue studies, risk assessments, and scientific outputs. Collaboration was key, and I guided and partnered with Regulatory Managers in strategizing for dietary exposure projects, ensuring alignment with our regulatory and business objectives. Additionally, I improved the automated regulatory sample inventory management and ordering process, streamlining operations by transitioning responsibilities from an external Contract Research Organization (CRO) to an internal team. Furthermore, I played a key role in a five-person team tasked with developing and implementing a global regulatory information system, enhancing our ability to manage essential documents and data efficiently.Engaging in industry working groups, professional associations, and conferences was another aspect of my role. As a pivotal member of Gowan's inaugural New Active Ingredient Registration Team, I managed all crop residue and method validation studies, playing a crucial role in the registration of new active ingredients. Generating residue degradation curves for global marketing and sales for all Gowan active ingredients was another significant aspect of my responsibilities, enabling our teams to effectively promote and market our products.Additionally, I took charge of the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multiple MS Teams and SharePoint sites, enhancing collaboration and information management within the regulatory group. My role also involved authoring and submitting several tolerance petitions and import tolerance petitions to the EPA, which included requests for label amendments and alternative active ingredient sources. I successfully managed multiple EPA DCI study submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Furthermore, I led the creation and automation of the regulatory sample inventory management and ordering process, which included developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) repository, sample material tracking, and disposal, streamlining our regulatory operations.One of my notable accomplishments was advocating for the removal of unclear and redundant label wording for a product. This achievement facilitated uninterrupted cropping and grazing cycles, aligning with EPA-approved changes.

In my multifaceted role, I served as an Emergency Coordinator, Safety Committee Chairman, and Assistant Crisis Communication Coordinator, overseeing safety and emergency response operations. This involved working closely with various teams to ensure the safety and well-being of the organization's employees.One of my significant contributions was collaborating with Marketing Product Managers and Field Development Representatives to revamp the Annual Development Meeting's focus. We shifted it from being data-centric to concentrating on strategy and protocol development, aligning it more closely with the company's objectives.I also led the Development Team in evaluating internal and alternative database options, resulting in a recommendation that gained IT Council approval. This initiative aimed to enhance our data management capabilities, contributing to more efficient operations.Furthermore, I implemented the CEO's directive to improve development sample management. This involved creating workflow maps with stakeholder input, developing a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for sample ordering, and establishing automated workflows. These efforts doubled the processing capacity of the Development Samples Team without requiring an increase in staff, demonstrating our commitment to operational efficiency.

In my role, I provide valuable guidance on sports fields, parks, recreation sites, landscaping, irrigation, water features, turf management, and tree and plant health strategies for both businesses and homeowners. My expertise is centered around creating visually appealing and efficient outdoor spaces that align with site-specific characteristics and client preferences, ultimately optimizing resource usage and enhancing property value.I work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and goals, whether it's designing a sustainable and low-maintenance landscape, improving the playability of a sports field, or enhancing the functionality of a recreational area. By tailoring my recommendations to the unique requirements of each project, I ensure that the outdoor environments I work on not only look great but also serve their intended purpose effectively.Sustainability is a key focus of my work, and I strive to implement strategies that minimize water usage, promote healthy plant and tree growth, and reduce maintenance requirements. A significant contribution in my first fiscal year was negotiating $3.5 million in research trial charges with other Monsanto groups and cutting expenditures, making the facility self-supporting for the first time since the site was established in 1984, eliminating the need for $1 million in support from the Technology Development group.In my role, I developed and maintained cooperative working relationships with research trial leads, collaborating research managers, and the on-site managers. I was able to create a “site team” atmosphere among the five separate teams by including everyone in site-wide projects and initiating a monthly meeting of the group managers. Collaborating with the group leaders it was my responsibility to ensure compliance with USDA, EPA, ESH, and OSHA regulations including maintaining the site’s OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) designation.Additionally, my responsibilities included Satellite facilities in West Lafayette, IN and Troy, MO visiting each location several times a year. For the Monmouth site and for each of the satellite facilities, I researched the cost, vendors, and process for replacing all of the equipment and supplies needed for the sites to continue or recover critical functions in the event of an unplanned disruption assembling that information and other particulars into a Business Continuity Plan.

In my role, I played a crucial part in coordinating with the regulatory group to create new labels, supplemental labels, and use recommendations for Monsanto's agricultural and IT&O products. This involved ensuring that all product labels were accurately represented on various platforms, including CDMS, Agrian, and Greenbook label books. I also took the lead in developing Monsanto's Chemical Product Label books and CDs.Collaboration with IT&O Marketing was another significant aspect of my responsibilities. I worked closely with the marketing team to create sales and marketing materials and presentations, leveraging my technical knowledge to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.Analyzing and presenting IT&O research data was another key part of my role. I used research insights to inform product placement, advancement, and sales and marketing strategies, contributing to the successful promotion and adoption of Monsanto's products.One notable achievement was my leadership in the technical development and launch of Roundup PROMAX, ensuring its successful market entry. Additionally, I developed and launched online training programs for IT&O product users, offering continuing education credits to enhance product knowledge and support our customers.

One of my key accomplishments was reducing labor expenses by 9.1% through effective management practices, demonstrating my commitment to optimizing resource utilization. I also took the initiative to conduct trials on new ornamental plant hybrids and cultivars, evaluating their production viability and contributing to our product portfolio's diversity.Identifying and addressing issues promptly was crucial in my role. For instance, I identified and corrected a nitrogen toxicity issue in our roses, preventing significant losses and ensuring the health of the plants. Additionally, I implemented pre-emergent herbicide use in landscaping, achieving significant annual savings while maintaining a weed-free environment.I also recognized the importance of efficient irrigation, and I improved the irrigation system and scheduling, reducing losses and maintaining the juniper inventory under the care of another manager. Overall, my role required a combination of leadership, problem-solving, and horticultural expertise to successfully manage and enhance the nursery's operations.
