I am a 2016 graduate of the BSA in Agriculture Business: Marketing and Management Program at the University of Arkansas. Through my studies I have become familiar with business management concepts and practices, including financial statements, finance, business valuation, and many more. I was also able to take courses provided by White Commercial emphasizing grain merchandising and basis trading, and received level I and II certificates in basis trading administration.In July of 2019 I graduated from the Masters of Science in Operations Management program, also at the University of Arkansas. Through this program I learned strategic and project management skills by also completing a Project Management Certification program concurrent with my degree. I am employed by Black Hills Energy. I started in 2010 as a Customer Care Representative. I was promoted to the Techline soon after starting where I handled emergency calls and dispatched technicians. I became the Afterhours Techline Team Lead in May of 2012, and became responsible for all afterhours supervisory decisions during my shifts. I lead a team of three to six members depending on the day of the week and call volume. For the past five years I have been in Gas Control working with a SCADA system to ensure the safe operations of three natural gas pipe line systems. In April of 2020 I accepted the position of Gas Control Operations Coordinator, focusing on improving efficiency, CRM reporting, and other duties to supplement Gas Control operations. In November 2020 I was promoted to supervisor in the Fayetteville office. In my free time, I enjoy fishing and golfing. I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and continue to enjoy the outdoors.
