- Researched open-domain information extraction and information verification using data from Wikipedia.- Developed a novel task formulation for fact verification as the joint task of information recall with natural language inference. Evaluated the dataset with baseline models with standard neural architectures (specifically: LSTM, Decomposable Attention, MLP)- Released a new dataset (FEVER) and used this as the basis for an academic shared task. This dataset has become the de facto standard for automated fact verification.- The internship resulted in a paper accepted at NAACL2018.
