As Principal & Vice President of Studio Operations at Overland Partners, I lead with a purpose-driven vision to elevate human experience through architecture that is both sustainable and transformative. My 20+ year journey has taken me across diverse sectors, from non-profits to cultural landmarks and visitor centers, where I have crafted spaces that heal, inspire, and connect. I believe in the power of architecture to foster community and well-being, and I’m passionate about projects that balance design innovation with environmental stewardship.Throughout my career, I’ve led teams on nationally recognized projects such as the ChildSafe Harvey E. Najim Children & Family Center, where design serves as a path to healing for traumatized children, and Ellsworth Kelly’s Austin, a work that merges art and architecture to create an immersive sanctuary for reflection. My work with non-profit, civic, and cultural organizations has instilled in me a commitment to amplifying purpose through design, aligning each project with client values to create lasting community impact.Beyond project leadership, I guide Overland’s operations with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, overseeing staffing, mentorship, and strategic development to support our studio’s success across offices. I thrive on fostering growth within our teams, and as a LEED Accredited Professional and Living Future Accredited Architect, I advocate for sustainable practices that push the boundaries of conventional design.Dedicated to my community and profession, I serve as a board member for AIA San Antonio, and I actively contribute to mentoring initiatives and industry panels, sharing insights on sustainable, regenerative design. My mission is to create spaces that go beyond form and function to embody compassion, resilience, and connection—architecture that truly makes a difference.
