James T. Majewski is an American stage, film, and television actor based in New York City.He has worked as a collaborator with international, interdisciplinary artist group, DREAM WALKER, appearing with them at Thymele Arts for the Hollywood Fringe Festival, at the Packard Long Beach for the biennial Public Urban Multisensory Presentations (PUMP) Festival, and at Automata in the Chinatown District of Los Angeles. James has performed at Hauser & Wirth LA in collaboration with visual and performance artist Sichong Xie, and can be seen in the upcoming short film, Hearse, directed by renowned American experimental filmmaker, Lewis Klahr.James has worked internationally, travelling to Poland as part of a recurring Grotowski Institute artistic residency and collaboration between Galiana & Nikolchev’s The Useless Room and members of Teatr ZAR. James originated the role of The Art Object in the world-premiere production of OBIE Lifetime Achievement Award-winning playwright Caridad Svich’s Magnificent Waste (Factory 449: A Theatre Collective), and was acclaimed for his performance of the titular role in D.C. NPR station WAMU’s radio adaptation of Romeo and Juliet (Lean and Hungry Theater), rebroadcast on KUT/FM Austin, Texas and Sirius XM Book Radio. Originally from Washington, D.C., James is a former Artistic Associate of D.C.-based Brave Spirits Theatre. He has worked extensively with professional theater companies throughout the DC metro area.James holds an MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts.
