James’s calming demeanor and focused mindset complement his desire for continual learning and engagement in creative processes. His passion for the geologic and geographic sciences stem from his roots growing up in the high-altitude town of Fairplay, in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Focusing on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) gives him the ability to support decision making, and planning by providing cartographic products, spatial analysis, and other technical services.After five years of career experience in the water resources industry, James recently completed a four-month travel experience in Southeast Asia fueled with the desire to explore the vast natural/urban landscapes and social/cultural elements. Returning home to Denver, CO James began working with CompassData, conducting LiDAR/Imagery field collection and post production using Mobile and UAV mapping systems. James seeks to build upon his professional career by continually developing his knowledge of database management systems, mapping applications, web services, and remote sensing systems in engineering and other geospatial industries.
