I have worked in many different areas from the manufacturing lines of Viking LLC, to the fully intigrated mill at International Paper. Hands on tasks are really my specialty and what I enjoy. After being exposed to mill wide reliability at IP and various supervisory roles, I have found an interest in anything new and challenging. I have learned so much in my short amount of time with the company, and look forward to learning anything and everything I can to make the equipment at the mill more reliable. For those who have not worked in the mill atmosphere before and want to know where to learn the most about the mill equipment, I will give you a freebee. Go and talk to the operators, shift mechanics, shift electricians, vibration group, and other hourly employees. Majority of the mill hands are smarter than most college grads and can teach you better than most professors could ever try to. I say all that to express how much I like meeting new people every day, and getting familiar with them. Their knowledge is another mechanism of reliability that I like getting exposed to.
