I specialise in employment and education law acting for both employers and employees in relation to all aspects of human resources and industrial relations. I am an experienced Tribunal advocate, but I spend the majority of my time delivering HR/operational advice to a variety of clients ranging from individual clients and small businesses to national institutions and public sector organisations including a number of local schools.My primary focus is on achieving the optimum result for my clients whatever that might be. I provide my clients with solutions as opposed to simply knowing the law. Each client is unique and has different objectives depending upon the circumstances of a particular scenario. I achieve success through fully understanding my clients, their beliefs and their core values. I have experience of handling large scale redundancies and mergers in addition to providing strategic support and drafting documents. I regularly appear as a Tribunal advocate, where acting for both employers and employees allows me to benefit from experiencing various situations from both sides of the fence. I have a proven track record of success and regularly receive positive feedback from my clients with regard to my negotiation skills and ability to achieve an outcome that has exceeded their expectations.Recent successes include, the removal of underperforming and senior individuals with minimum disruption to the clients, supporting the merger of two businesses, robustly defending Tribunal claims and securing in excess of £250k onbehalf of three individuals. I also provide HR and legal advice to a number of local schools and regulalry support schools converting to Academy status.
