Cayen Systems is an industry leader in non-profit and after-school management software. The company's suite of applications are highly customizable and include such features as invoicing and fee tracking, academic record keeping, and attendance-tracking including biometric finger scanning.While working here I have been deeply involved in all of the following:- Development of VB.Net desktop application for Biometric finger scanning utilizing third-party API and multiple web services.- Maintenance and new feature development for five client-applications. Languages: ASP, ASP.Net (VB.Net), SQL Server, JavaScript, AJAX.- DBA responsibilities, including database design, optimization, and development of DTS and SSIS packages.- Development of Intranet application for contact management, project management, time sheet tracking, and general HR functionality. Worked with many departments to build user-friendly interfaces for task automation and process improvement.
