Supported users via email, phone and remote sessions with hardware, application and mobile device difficulties. Upgraded and configured workstations, printers, and software, and assisted in operation of network fileservers. Worked with all levels of staff and faculty, ensuring secure access to files and services. Tracked Dell warrantees, filing claims, replacing failed components. Familiar with UofT’s networks, SCCM, Enterprise Active Directory and Group Policy Object practices.

I built and evaluated Plone and Wordpress content management systems, customizing navigation and CSS. As a video archivist, I captured and edited conference proceedings then authored html with semantic markup and flash interfaces for online distribution. I managed projects within our research group iterating user-centered design to bring web 2.0 applications into compliance with accessibility standards. This work included preparing mock-ups of architectures, and coding functional dynamic html prototypes. Our group also analysed social-network data.

A small internet start-up where I developed php-driven flash-based e-commerce interfaces; innovating years before data responsive web pages. Duties included system administration, SQL database programming, flash and html authoring. Our clients included umbra.com deltahotels.com kindersurpurise.com and penequity.

Division of the Environment - Provided administrative support to program director, main duties were financial tracking of projects, community liason and building course web pages. - Counseled students in course and program decisions.
