Worked on Sugar7, the latest version of the CRM platform. The project was a huge shift from the PHP-heavy application to a Backbone application that did much of the work on the client.Our team was composed of many friends from iContact, and we used our special knowledge to help design and start building the marketing and email modules for Sugar as well as improve the company culture.I spent most of my time helping with front-end design and architecture issues in the nascent framework we built. I designed mockups and implemented prototypes of the functional front-end pieces. I also implemented and taught much of the JavaScript testing for the new framework.While I was at SugarCRM, I noticed a lack of defined process and project tracking and stepped in under my own initiative to present some solutions to the company.
