Particularly, my roles included project management, resource mobilization, training, monitoring and evaluation, communication, research as well as providing technical backstopping as needed. In this role, I led the Programs Department in implementing projects aimed at reducing vulnerability to radicalization and violent extremism; youth economic empowerment; building resilience; hygiene and sanitation as well as combating gender based violence. Key Achievements:- Oversaw the piloting of the scientific and highly successful Youth First Kenya (YFK) Project,which was highlighted in 2019 during the Education Evidence for Action (EE4A) Conferenceby the Ministry of Education as an innovative and transformative education project in Kenya.- Led the implementation of the Jiongoze Project, which resulted in the development of one (1)innovative community policing approach dubbed the ‘Station Youth Liaison Officers (SYLO)’program that transformed police-youth partnership on security matters.
