Managed and motivated a team of three Product Managers who each had regional accountability for the mid-market product strategy for Bell Business Markets. Responsible for the creation, communication and execution of all programmatic sales initiatives driving incremental opportunity for Bell branded products and solutions in the Canadian mid-market. Developed a new strategic call strategy to facilitate the challenging process of cold-calling on customers, a program that remained in use for over three years.

Responsible for defining the net new client acquisition strategies for Bell Business Markets, primarily focused on the mid-market. In conjunction with this, developed unique strategies for winning back customers who had left us.

Developed a new suite of marketing tools to support the external partner community as they looked to promote and sell the Bell suite of connectivity products and solutions. Designed a self-service communication tool that allowed the authorized partner community to promote (either 1:1 or 1:many) Bell solutions while maintaining control of their own brand, so important in their local geography. Created and launched a loyalty program to increase awareness and focus on the Bell portfolio. Created a self-service customer seminar tool to give partners the ability to set up their own customer-facing seminars in partnership with Bell.

Promoted to Manager of the Product Management team, supporting a dynamic group of eight Product Managers in their objectives. Defined growth targets for all strategic partners and ensured the team executed to the annual business plans. Developed marketing strategies and sales initiatives to support sales in their revenue and gross margin objectives. 1st runner up "Best Performance Marketing" 2004 Channel Elite Awards.

Managed directly the vendor relationships with HP, Lexmark, IBM, Symantec, Toshiba, Kingston, Targus, Cisco, Viewsonic and NEC-Mitsubishi. Negotiated pricing on special buy-ins and created all the marketing initiatives to promote each of the focus partners.

Started as the Printing Category Manager focused on maintaining appropriate inventory levels for all the following vendors: HP, Lexmark, Canon, Epson, Fujitsu and Okidata. These partners represented >$30M in inventory. Managed all stock rotations and price protections.Moved to Vendor Relations group where I honed my skills in developing and maintaining productive and profitable relationships with external partners. For several years had direct and full accountability for the HP and IBM relationships, managing a business that was in excess of $250M in annual sales (through the MicroAge and CompuSmart franchise channels). Principal liaison between the vendor, the distributor and the partner channel.
