Worked as a software developer for a small New Zealand startup called Hypebeat. I helped to develop the backend of the main product using the Koa.JS framework and the frontend by using React Native

The majority of my time was spent working with the core team of Halter helping to developing the main product. I helped by acting as a backend developer where I maintained and extend the backend and cloud infrastructure of the product using technologies such as AWS, Nest.js, Swagger and OpenApi.I also engaged in frontend development using the React.JS framework where I helped to prototype product dashboards.

This position involved marking student assignments and engaging in tutorials where I helped students understand and learn computer science. Specifically I tutored a second year algorithms and data structures paper called COMP261 (https://www.wgtn.ac.nz/courses/comp/261/2019/offering?crn=18314).

I worked as part of an agile development team for BNZ digital helping to develop the frontend of BNZ's banking software using React.JS. This job had me working in a professional team where I collaborated with experienced designers and developers to help create frontend visual components i.e. developing reusable checkbox components.

For a short period of time I worked as a software tester for the Bank of New Zealand. This job had me analysing professionally developed code and communicating with developers about the implications and behaviour of their code.
