James A. Westbrook is an environmental entrepreneur with more than 30 years of technical and business management experience. He leads as President and CEO of BlueScape Environmental (www.bluescapeinc.com). In his career, James has managed or completed more than 100 environmental consulting projects serving diverse consumer, manufacturing, and energy-related industries in more than 20 US states. Industries served include power generation & utilities, general manufacturing, food industries, semiconductor & electronics, aerospace, chemical companies, offshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, coating manufacturing, oil and gas production facilities, and refineries. Example customers include two major California utilities, GE Energy, Johns Manville, Johnson Controls, Chevron, Fisher-Scientific, HollyFrontier, General Motors, Northrop Grumman, and Apple. He directs air quality consulting projects, including NSR/PSD air permitting, dispersion modeling, strategic carbon advisory services, CEQA/NEPA impact analysis, emission inventories, health risk assessments, emission credit development, and environmental compliance. James developed a full service environmental consulting firm from the ground up, including service offering design, financial planning, legal, IT, benefits, and staffing. He is experienced in marketing and sales management. He has developed business identity, trademarks and patents, websites, corporate brochures, direct mail and email marketing campaigns, and technical training programs for customers. He regularly delivers sales and technical presentations at conferences and via webinars.
