As the Director of Continuing Legal Education at the Maine State Bar Association, I will coordinate and manage all of the programs we do for lawyers to obtain their required continuing education hours. This will include managing a significant budget for the Association.As Director of Career Services at Husson University, I worked with students, alumni, and employers to create connections that are beneficial to all. My role with students is to do career counseling and helping them make effective career decisions.I have skills in consulting with businesses on their workforce training and other business needs. In my previous role, I have developed strong knowledge of economic development resources, training resources, and career development resources working with many industries. In addition, I can help companies start or implement internship programs.I am a leader in the career development field having had leadership roles at the state and national level. I was a long time board member and President of the Maine Career Development Association. In addition, I have been involved with the National Career Development Association Credential Commission where I served for several years and was Chair-Elect and Chair in 2020 and 2021. Finally, I serve on the Audit Committee for the Credential Commission where we audit the continuing education of select members to make sure their CEU's are sufficient.Outside of work I love to hike, climb and cross-country ski.
