Spearheaded the creation of a new Organizational Inspection Checklist to ensure all direct reporting units were conducting relevant and timely Human Resource competencies resulting in 50% increase in readiness metrics. Over the course of 3 years all units improved their Inspection scores, with one unit increasing from 56% to 90%. Supervised the management of all Human Resource functions for 1600+ Soldiers across New York State, continually ensuring 90% of assigned personnel were ready for rapid mobilization in support of civil support operations. Overhauled existing file storage from a share drive to Microsoft Teams. Built multiple Teams that created long-term knowledge management that were easily accessible for our full-time Soldiers and our part-time Soldiers.

Developed and implemented a process to accurately manage and administer over 1,000 on/off boardingtransactions to verify accurate information was uploaded across multiple online systems. Created trackingmechanism to ensure 100% Soldier accountability of 10,500+ Soldiers while transitioning to new online software, Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). National Guard Bureau issued an annual end strength goal with monthly benchmarks to increase our strength. I met every monthly goal at least a week in advance and easily met our annual end strength goal by increasing our strength by over 200 Soldiers. Successfully maintained and administered all long-term personnel records for all Soldiers in the NYARNG, as the IPERMS Domain Manager.

Responsible for managing multiple Battalion’s personnel readiness, including strength reporting, medical readiness, information management, and payroll. Wrote Standard Operating Procedures in the areas of Awards, Leave, Promotions, and Sponsorship increasing communication on proper workflow that reduced processing timelines. Worked directly with our State Headquarters to implement changes tracking evaluations and contract extensions. Overdue evaluations in multiple units were reduced from over 10% to under 5%. Overdue bonuses due to improper contract extension tracking had the days they were open reduced from almost one year to 3 months in a 2-year span. While deployed, selected over other Senior Personnelists to manage the administrative readiness of over 750 Soldiers from multiple States. Operated 6 levels above my pay grade and was personally selected by the Task Force Commander to advise him on all personnel matters. Coordinated a plan to effectively manage human resource duties for Soldiers located on nearly every base in Afghanistan. Ensured all Soldiers that were new to the unit received proper guidance and training upon arrival to the unit. Awarded the New York Army National Guard Soldier of the Year and NCO of the Year awards after competing in competitions in 2 consecutive years. This competition is a measure of physical fitness, weapons qualification and weapons knowledge, Army history, direct Soldier skills, and performance in front of a Senior NCO Board. During my spare time, mentored multiple Soldiers to compete in Soldier of the Year competitions, with one Soldier competing at the Eastern Regional level, which included all United States Army Soldiers on the east coast. Trained multiple levels of personnel in online systems to include: payroll, promotions, medical readiness tracking, and document sharing. Routinely recognized for leadership abilities.
