CurrentAs an autonomous role reporting directly to the managing director, I am responsible for driving marketing efforts for this UK-based manufacturing company. The business specialises in manufacturing large composite structures and mouldings in the marine & defence sectors for international customers.RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies, timelines, and budgets to deliver on the company's business strategy.• Create and launch successful integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and print advertising.• Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, editorials, and case studies, to build brand awareness and drive lead generation.• Manage budgets and allocated resources effectively to maximize ROI and meet financial targets.• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities, while utilising data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics.• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, agencies, and media partners.• Monitor and report on campaign performance using metrics such as CTR, conversion rates, and engagement levels, and made data-driven recommendations for optimisation and improvement.ACHIEVEMENTS• Led the successful rebrand of the business, updating all marketing materials and messaging to better align with industry sectors. This resulted in increased brand recognition and improved customer engagement.• Designed and launched the company’s new website, improving the user experience and increasing online visibility. As a result, the company gained higher traffic, improved search engine rankings, and increased lead generation.• Published various articles in local and industry publications, demonstrating my ability to convert consumer insights and technical information into compelling content that positions the company as a thought leader in the field.
