Born and raised in beautiful southern California, I received a diploma in Graphic Communication with an emphasis in packaging at Cal Poly SLO. Through an extensive selection of coursework, I have developed a variety of print and design-related skills. I find time in my day to practice several hobbies, including photography, model-making, and creative writing, and am always ready to learn. Throughout my childhood, I spent lots of time working behind the scenes in a theater, and have put on dozens of productions in both technical and leadership roles. I have also spent time as a freelance graphic artist, a elementary level physical education student teacher, and event photographer in Newbury Park, CA. I have technical experience in programs ranging the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, and have extensive practice as a project manager from my time at UGS and Hogarth Worldwide. Finally, I've found a new and interesting path in the field of Education as I've returned to college with the goal of earning a credential in Multimedia. In the meantime, I work as a long-term substitute in the Morgan Hill Unified School District. My goal in life is to embody the essence of growth, efficiency and satisfaction with my work. I don't rate myself on my success, but rather on what I can take away from everything I do. I'm always ready to learn, and always welcoming of constructive criticism. Being analytical while remaining empathetic in every situation is how I've learned to tackle life, and maintaining strong and meaningful relationships has always been an important part of how I grow and thrive.
