About me – I’m an IT Problem Solver and Transformation Change Agent. I’m a builder of great teams and energize IT organizations into understanding that their purpose, ultimately, is to serve customers. My career of customer-centricity has been built on leading IT teams that face internal customers within the company and a varying level of external customers that are ultimately putting money in the accounts that drive our paychecks. I’ve been blessed with not only participating in the creation of many digital platforms that took $10’s of Millions to create, but also having key accountability for multiple products and services within them. Digital Transformation experiences include multiple ERP, CRM, Data Center, Data-Warehousing, Hotel Central Reservation and Property Management system applications, and countless vendor integrations into the above.I’ve served for Private, Private-Equity Owned, VC backed, and Publicly held companies and have had to manage the complexities of varying levels of compliance and governance within those. Void of Information Security personnel, I’ve also had to fill the CISO role during both of my times as CIO which included accountability for security incident response, security questionnaire response for new customers, annual security training, and authoring security and privacy policies for the company. In my career, I’ve had to manage the IT components of due diligence for M & A activities including post-acquisition transformation project management up to $15 million in budget size.I’m currently hunting for my next great opportunity to bring immediate value to leading an IT team or Digital Transformation initiative for a company in need. I’ll gladly do this as an employee, however, while my full-time search continues, I’m also pursuing clients who have those IT problems to solve as a consultant, or on an interim or fractional level while my IT Leadership / IT Transformation search continues.
