I worked on enhancing our internal tooling and deployment infrastructure through building deployment systems and application monitoring tools.• Designed and implemented changes to deployment configurations and deployment tooling for migrating 3,000+ microservices to HashiCorp Nomad• Migrated 1,000+ microservices to use a deployment of the Sentry error-reporting tool in Google Kubernetes Engine, resulting in significant improvements to developer experience when tracing errors (see blog post: https://engblog.yext.com/post/sentry-js-source-maps)• Improved Go error reporting in Sentry with custom stacktrace-parsing logic• Designed and implemented functionality to simplify the process of taking nodes offline for scheduled maintenance in an internal service orchestrator• Wrote training material used in the onboarding process for new engineers describing how to deploy and troubleshoot code in production systems

HackUMass gives students an outpost for their craziest ideas as one of the largest hackathons in the Northeast. I was the director of HackUMass VII, managing a team of around two dozen organizers to put on an event with 1,000 student participants and a budget of $50,000.

Held office hours, managed assignment grading, and answered student questions for CS365 Digital Forensics for two semesters. Received an Outstanding UCA award for contributions to the class. Also served as a course assistant for CS460 Computer and Network Security.

Helped build the DevOps Environment Service, a new backend for Google Cloud Shell which provisions on-demand Kubernetes containers to end users. Part of the Google Core Systems/Google Cloud organization.
