My role is primarily as an SME, from standing up and running infrastructure, to building the front and backend applications that reside within the infrastructure.Frontend:- Developed primarily with Angular 14+- Upgraded some legacy Angular 7 applications to Angular 15- Wrote sharable components for ease of team's development- Used NGRX to manage application state- Tested application code using Jasmine / Karma framework / runner, respectivelyBackend / Middleware:- Build internal APIs in Golang that ran in AWS ECS, Lambda, or EC2 instances- Wrote application telemetry using OpenTelemetry outputting directly to NewRelic's OTLP endpoint- Monitored application perform as needed within NewRelic's dashboards and alerts- Wrote internal CLI tooling to automate / reconcile manual processes and or data inconsistencies between internal services.- Persistent (relational) storages used where PostgreSQL and MySQL.Infrastructure:- Leveraged infrastructure as code (Terraform) to craft, deploy, and manage infrastructure on AWS- Wrote / contributed to various Terraform modules to help other developers align with McGraw Hill's best practices

Including but not limited to:- API based application [exposed http endpoints] that connected with GitHub, AWS, and SharePoint and persisted consolidated data to a PostgreSQL database and AWS S3.- Simple deployment tool that enabled quick file based deployments and reversions for thousands of files / directories within milliseconds.
