I am personally responsible for the web-based offerings. Having backfilled a solo position, I tookover the development and maintenance of the two active versions of the web client, improvingperformance, security, and fixing numerous browser-specific bugs.I converted the WCF-based RESTful services into WebApi restful services and implemented abattery of unit tests.I removed browser-specific features and re-implemented thembrowser-agnostic using a combination of existing jquery/kendoui libraries as well as somehome-grown solutions. I improved the CORS support, eliminating the need to pass authorizationas cookies and thereby opening up the solution to be a truly multi-server suite.I assisted the forward development team (working on the next forms-based release) byintroducing modern development techniques such as IOC containers, XSD/XML storage ofconfig data in the database, and how to use partition schemes in the database to improve log datatruncation.I assisted the build manager in defining a CI server which he then implemented.Beginning in the fall of 2014, I began rewriting the web offering using a combination ofangular/MVC/WebAPI.The site was redesigned from the ground up with abootstrap/android-esque look and feel that is truly responsive from wide-screen monitors down tovery small phones. I swapped the expensive atalasoft image viewing components with fabricjs soas to provide a fast image render as well as the ability to add annotations to each document byallowing users to draw directly onto the screen. I re-implemented the security layer to remove allcleartext passage of user information.The current product is written in Angular 8 with the Material UI design. It has a service worker for offline ability and is responsive down to a small hand-held phone. The Middle-tier is a DotNet 3.5 WebAPI.

Managed a team of asp developers in support and conversion of a circa-1980s hospital management application.Wrote design and functional specifications, using UML modeling.Database design and conversion from B-Tree system to SQL Server. Wrote Reports using SSRS. Managed Source Control system that I upgraded from SourceSafe 6 to Subversion to allow for better automated building/testing/analysis.

I developed, maintained, and managed the Corporate Information Portal. This Portal was adatabase-driven website on the Intranet. Developed originally in PHP using a MySQL backend,the Portal became the central document repository for the corporation. Users were encouraged toplace all documentation on the portal in a carefully designed hierarchy of department pages andsub-sections. After a brief time, I redesigned and redeployed the Portal software using PerlscriptASP with an ODBC connection to a MSSQL7 database
