James Wright leads InterWorks’ global analytics practice from either New York City or a Boeing 747. InterWorks’ analytics group enables data-driven decisions through innovative BI solutions around the globe. James crafts direction and a collaborative consulting approach for the group in the USA, Canada, EMEA, and APAC.

I am thrilled to work with a small client-base to design Drupal-based solutions customized for their business' needs.

Working with a team of IT, content, and educational design experts, I designed, developed, and deployed the DLearning system, a customized Drupal-based learning management system. Clinical Tools utilizes this system to provide cutting-edge medical education to over 50,000 clients around the world.I cannot say enough wonderful things about my time at Clinical Tools, where I learned to love the small-business environment and it's myriad demands and opportunities. Leadership, team-work, client relations, and project-management were all essential components of my experience.

Designed and lead development team for a proprietary JAVA-based CMS specifically targeted for Learning Management. Concurrently worked with a JAVA development team on a variety of NIH and NSF funded projects. Traveled extensively to pursue, acquire, and manage client accounts.

Working with an evolving and stimulating set of projects, Clinical Tools gave me every opportunity to find my niche. I cut my teeth writing genetics education modules for the National Cancer Institute, designing learning paradigms for NASA, and writing DARPA and NSF grants. These myriad opportunities highlighted my love for understanding, designing, and optimizing systems.

What better way to combine my love of climbing, community, and hyper-analytical nature? I spent time coaching the junior climbing team, devising intricate ways for beginners and experts alike to challenge themselves, and immersing in the entrepreneurial experience. The Vertical Edge was my introduction to the North Carolina climbing community, and has offered me lasting friendships renewed on long hikes and tall cliffs around the world.

Designed and implemented psycholinguistic experiments, largely focused on sentence parsing and visual priming. Analyzed data and contributed to ongoing research publications.
