US&S Wayside Project Engineer for the Montreal Laval Extension. The project consisted of a 5.2 km extension of the Montreal Metro north under the St Lawrence river to Laval. Control electronics were totally updated and retrofitted for three existing stations: Creamazie, Sauve, and Henri-Bourassa. Three new stations were added: Cartier, Concord and.

US&S Lead CAB Equipment Engineer for the Port Authority of Allegheny County (PAAC) Stage II Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project. The project included new wayside signaling equipment utilizing US&S AF900 Digital Track Circuits and new cab equipment to be installed on existing Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) and new LRVs. Tasks included supervision of the cab.

Systems engineer for the Los Angeles Green Line Automatic Train Control equipment utilizing AF900 Track Circuits and Micro-Cab onboard equipment. One task was to translate and verify Green Line civil drawing data into an onboard database for software control. Problems existed in the current operation and with the new update provided the control problems.

Systems engineer on various proposal efforts - Provided Systems Engineering for Light Rail Vehicle Design: Specification compliance, proposals and overall vehicle system design. Hornell, NY

Systems Engineering and software optimization at the GM Romulus Engine Plant in the Detroit Area. The plant produced the 350 ci V8 and the V6 Vortec engines. A new automated line had been installed, but it was not operating to expectations. I was assigned the task of software rewrite for the computerized Corvette crankshaft grinding machine.
