Currently, I am part of a newly formed tax team managing Sales & Use Tax for multiple entities. I enjoy teamwork, and the collaboration I have in my current role makes me proud to be part of a great team. I work across teams dealing with proper cost accounting for liabilities, ensuring proper monies owed and received, handling payments, and reconciliations.Prior to S&U, I was a Business Unit Accountant in the health care industry. I worked on cost accounting, month end close, reconciliations, profit and loss statements, and expense analysis. I gained experience in inventory procurement, policies and procedures, and was able to make clearer definitions of my Accounting tasks by being promoted into corporate from the site level. Because of that I was able to bring my knowledge of site processes with me and to the whole accounting team.My ideal position would be in a training/supervisory role while helping the company make positive and efficient decisions; from the ground level up.Skilled in teamwork, operations management, accounting, reconciliations, critical thinking, time management, Excel, Net Suite, organization, tax, and functionality.
