About Jamey Dye
With more than 35 years of experience in civil engineering, project management and construction contract administration, I currently serve as a project manager at Burns & McDonnell leading federal projects and helping our clients overcome challenges of constrained budgets and schedules. I have experience in design and construction management, commercial and industrial greenfield and brownfield development, reservoirs, water wells, water booster stations, sewer lift stations, industrial waste treatment, and water treatment plants.I spent 10 years managing the water and waste groups in the City of San Bernardino Water Department. I have led utility master plan design teams for both public agencies and private campuses. I have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California Poly Technical University - Pamona, and I’m a licensed professional engineer.When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family at the beaches, mountains and deserts of southern California, with an occasional trip to Disneyland sprinkled in. My favorite outdoor sports are backpacking, scuba diving, and river rafting. I am also a published author; my book From Fear to Freedom describes my parents' mission work with the people in the Papua New Guinea rainforest during the 1950s and 1960s.At Burns & McDonnell, our client-focused approach and processes manage change, complexity and uncertainty inherent in government projects.
