As a tenured member, I am offered all performing services which require my instrument for the entire season.

I provide private instruction to flute and violin students ranging from 6 years old through adult and all levels of playing experience. Curriculum is individually tailored to the unique needs, learning styles and abilities of each student. My pedagogical philosophy is drawn from several decades of experience as a professional performing musician on both instruments. Performer for various events and venues ranging from private engagements to concerts by renowned artists of diverse styles such as Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Stevie Wonder, Rod Stewart, The Moody Blues, and Michael W. Smith. Skills involve a high level of competency on both the violin and the flute, and the ability to play a wide range of musical styles on very short notice with minimal advance preparation when required by the circumstance.As a small ensemble group leader for private engagements, these duties include communication with clients and wedding planners, understanding the needs of the client and event, providing the requested selections, and helping to create the desired mood. The group leader also obtains the music, organizes the ensemble, and communicates all details to the group members.

Requirements include performing music from all eras, flexibility preparing for any part of the violin section requested, and the ability to perform at a high artistic level on a short amount of the provided orchestral rehearsal time.

Appointed as Substitute Flutist 2012.Appointed as Substitute Violinist 2008.Skills include being able to step in on short notice to play on behalf of a regular orchestra member, and to adapt and blend with regular members as a part of the team.

Drawing upon the flexibility and immediate readiness from years of being a free lance musician, I fill in for public school classroom teachers either on very short notice or occasionally with advance notice. I especially enjoy using my musical experience to work with orchestras or bands, and my proficiency in French to step in where needed in a language classroom. Decades of private and small group instruction (primarily in music) have equipped me to relate to students of varying ages and playing levels.

Experienced private instructor who provides a customized musical curriculum to individual violin and flute students to enhance their skills as a musician, provide guidance for character development, and to create a lifelong appreciation for and love of music and the arts. Coaching for auditions and recitals are included as a part of each student's program. In addition to shaping their musical abilities, mentoring skills for time and stress management are an integral part of a student's overall experience.

My duties as a PYCO youth orchestra coach are to lead violin sectionals, adjudicate seating auditions, and provide support during concert performances.As a Chamber Music Coach, I work with both string and woodwind ensembles during Chamber Music Seminars. In addition to musical guidance, I teach young musicians to develop communication skills, performance skills, and mentor them to strengthen their cooperation and team building abilities.

I offer private instruction on the violin and the flute to students of any age and level of ability.

A free lance musician must be extremely versatile in many styles of music. One day you're performing Classical music in an orchestral or chamber music concert, the next day you might be playing with Stevie Wonder! Your work schedule and location vary greatly from one day to the next, but it's always very interesting and challenging.
