My responsibilities at DD&A include collection, analysis, and documentation of data and information for clients; production of biological and environmental documents; California Environmental Quality Act/National Environmental Policy Act (CEQA/NEPA) analyses (especially in regard to biological resources); regulatory permit acquisition; GPS data collection; GIS analysis; and graphic preparation. I specialize in botanical assessments and regularly manage rare plant surveys and habitat mapping efforts, and prepare plant and habitat restoration plans. I also have experience in biological surveys for special-status wildlife species throughout California, I am an authorized individual on the DD&A federal 10(a)1(a) Recovery Permit for California tiger salamander and California red-legged frog, and I hold a CDFW Scientific Collection Permit authorizing handling (capture and release) of all mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and freshwater/terrestrial invertebrates. Through DD&A’s contract with KEMRON, I served as the lead biologist for the cleanup of the inland ranges former Fort Ord Army base for over 10 years.
