Act as a liaison between the sales and operations departments of the hotel to ensure a successful event for the clients and all of the client’s needs are met and communicated accurately and efficiently to all departments of the hotel.Obtain all rooming lists, monitor rooming list cut off dates, get all menu details, meeting room setups, audio/visual requirements and any other additional needs of the client to ensure a successful event at the property.Responsible for obtaining all direct bill and credit approvals of groups arriving at the property as well as reviewing of all bills that are sent to the client after the group departure.Participate in weekly sales and operations meetings to communicate the upcoming group’s needs.

Manage the banquet team before, during, and after events to ensure all duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Oversee the preparation of the area or room in its entirety for a function or event.Ensure that any and all Food and Beverage items are presented and served correctly, adhering to the standards set out by the resort.Maintain constant communication between the Culinary Department, Catering Conference Services Managers, and Meeting Planners for events; alerting of any changes, challenges or comments that may arise during the service of an event.Responsible to manage a team that changes daily; ranging between 2 and 25 team members at a time.Properly running events that extend from small corporate meetings, parties, and refreshment breaks to large receptions, dinners, and hospitality suites.
